Shop-Share-Earn at Success Mall

Do you like shopping?  Do you like to earn from shopping?  Do you like using the Internet in interacting with your friends and family?

Success Mall is a place where you can shop, share, and earn!

John Calub, Philippines' number 1 success coach takes on the e-commerce scene by launching a new tech start-up company Success Mall, the country's first 'Word of Mouse" shopping community.

While e-commerce is not new anymore and there are already other e-commerce sites available in the Philippines, Success Mall is a unique e-commerce site where an individual isn't just a shopper.  It offers affiliate marketing to ALL of its shoppers by just referring their family and friends to shop on Success Mall.

How does this work?

Success Mall is a hybrid online marketplace and deal website that offers an array of local and international products and services at huge discounted prices with FREE delivery directly to the buyer's house.  Unlike other online shopping websites, Success Mall gives each and every individual an opportunity to start their own e-commerce business from home without the need to shell out any capital.  Simply register for a free account, shop at the website regularly, and recommend the products and services to family members and friends through social networking sites such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.  Each time the referred community of shoppers you have built buys at Success Mall, you and the referrers start sharing the earned rebate points that can be withdrawn in cash via banks all over the world through the Success Mall Visa debit card.  You can also use the same accumulated cash rebates to purchase again, which means that your own shopping expenses automatically get covered, or it can be free!

Sounds incredible, is it? Now, your next question is: how does Success Mall accomplish this?

Every new person that signs up in Success Mall is given a unique affiliate link that one can simply share through social networking sites and Success Mall's affiliate system tracks exactly who becomes part of the community of shoppers under her/her wing.  After an individual has successfully invited friends and family to register for free under his/her affiliate account, one will start earning cash rebates immediately from every purchase and repeat purchases of products and services of these people who are tagged under his/her account.  Just simply encourage people to sign-up only ONCE and you will start earning from their repeat purchases for the rest of your life even while you're sleeping!  Imagine that!

John Calub shares his vision on putting up Success Mall.  "Part of the company's vision is not only to help consumers buy products affordably online and earn from referrals.  Success Mall was created to help small and medium scale entrepreneurs (SMEs) promote their brand and sell their products to a global market faster, 24-hours a day, through free 'word of mouse' marketing," he shared.

You may wonder why 'word of mouse' not 'word of mouth'.  John Calub explained that due to the rise of Internet marketing, it's now less talk and more typing and clicking and sharing through social networking sites.

Who are the people behind Success Mall?

John Calub assembled a team of seasoned entrepreneurs who run successful businesses at present.  "I believe that more than just financial capital, a strong advisory board is what makes or breaks any start-up," Calub explained.

Here are the board of directors:

  • Sarah Deloraya and Claudia Cui (owners, SPD Job Contracting and Consultancy Services)
  • Atty. Boyet Tabao (Managing Partner, Westwood Law)
  • Heddy Tabao (President, Klassic Marketing)
  • Rowena Paragas (President, NYD International Placement Agency)
  • Michael Maranan (President, We Express Logistics)
Carl Ocab is a millenial Internet marketing genius whose success story was recently featured as part of the cover story of Forbes Asia Magazine.  Carl is also the global ambassador of Success Mall.

Blugre Coffee: Davao's Best Coffee Shop Now in Manila!

When you consider yourself as a coffee lover, there is a tendency for you to explore other drinks and pastries that has coffee in it.  Your taste buds become sensitive to different kinds of coffee and you can already immediately tell what is a good coffee and not.

When you consider yourself as a coffee lover, you aim to have a coffee brewer in your home and try different coffee beans.  While drinking instant coffee is still an option, you tend to try all kinds of instant coffee available in the market and choose your favorite.

When you consider yourself as a coffee lover, you make coffee shops as one of your places to relax and meet friends.  You enjoy having a bonding moment with the people close to you and coffee shops become your bane for work ocassionally.

I have heard about Blugre Coffee from a friend who had an opportunity to stay in Davao for several years and she has been telling a lot of good things about Blugre.  While I also had been to Davao in the past, I never had a chance to visit one of their coffee shops there.  I got excited when I learned that there is Blugre Coffee near our home!

Blugre Coffee Metro East beside Taytay Municipal Hall

Blugre Metro East can be found near the municipal hall of Taytay, Rizal.  It opened in February this year, just in time for the town fiesta.  Originally, Blugre Coffee is a local coffee shop in Davao City established in June 1998.  It has three company owned branches in Davao (Landco Corporat Center, Matina Town Square, Gaisano Mall).  Blugre Coffee is known for their signature drink, Durian Coffeecino, a hot coffeeccino concoction that blends espresso and durian fruit wonderfully.

You may find it a weird combination: durian + coffee, but I can attest that it tastes good!

Apart from coffee and pastries, they also serve meals at an affordable price!

Blugre's red velvet cake, so creamy and delicious!

Blugre Coffee also sells coffee beans and other merchandise such as mugs, souvenir shirts, durian dip, chips and jam, cacao nibs, and coffee wine.

LEGO Friends for Girls Who Love Imaginative Play!

LEGO is considered a must toy for every children.  It develops creativity and imaginative play.  With lots of possibilities when you combine different LEGO bricks and pieces, a child can create multiple figures and images.  We just need to remind our children to pack away each LEGO pieces or else, we might step on it and it'll hurt us big time, waaah!

Before, LEGO was considered as a toy for boys.

I remember a time when my siblings and I were still young, I would play with my Barbie and my brother with his LEGO.  We would play together, pretending that the LEGO structure that my brother built will be my Barbie's home.

Presently, my son is now hooked on LEGO.  He combined ALL of his LEGO playsets so he can create more structures and play with his friends.  Sometimes my son and his friends would 'trade' LEGO pieces.  I just to remind him every now and then that he should put all of his LEGO bricks in one place, it's scattered all over the house, arrrgggghhh!!!

As the company evolved in their years of experience, LEGO started to develop different playsets to cater to different children of different ages.  It has a playset for toddlers, for school-aged kids, for teens, and even for adults!

What's good is that LEGO can now already be played by little girls!

Last June 30th, LEGO has invited several mommy bloggers together with their kids to have a wonderful time playing and creating structures and images using LEGO bricks.  The event also served as a preview to what will happen for the two weekends of July.  This event primarily introduces LEGO Friends to the public.

Here are other photos of the event:

LEGO Friends is a product range of the LEGO construction toy designed primarily for girls.  Introduced in 2012, the theme introduced the "mini-doll" figures, which are about the same size as the traditional minifigures but are more detailed and realistic.  The sets include pieces in pink and purple color schemes and depict scenes from suburban life set in the fictional town of Heartlake City.  In the initial wave of sets, the larger sets include bricks that can build a veterinary clinic, a malt-style cafe, a beauty salon and a suburban house; smaller sets included a "cool convertible", a design studio, an inventor's workshop and a swimming pool.  LEGO Friends theme center around five best friends, each with their own unique personality, who live in the beautiful Heartlake City, where there are lots of cute animals to take care of, shops to visit, and houses to live in.

Here are the five core characters of LEGO Friends.  Each and every character has their own personality!  Choose the character your little girl can relate most:

Stephanie is a confident natural leader.  She is very social, creative, and organized.  She loves planning events, parties, and soccer.  She also enjoys talking to people, writing stories and dancing ballet as well.  Her signature colors are white, magenta, and light pink.  Her favorite food is cupcakes.

Olivia is an environmentalist who enjoys science, nature, and history.  She also enjoys inventing, hiking, taking pictures, going to school, and drawing.  She is also a caretaker of a newborn foal (a baby horse).  Her signature colors are pink, purple, and white.  She is very intelligent and focused, yet at times clumsy.

Emma is the fashionista of the group.  She is a very stylish and trendy girl who loves style.  As shown in the sets she appears in, it is very obvious that she loves fashion design, jewelry-making, interior design, makeovers, English horseback jumping and karate.  Her signature colors are purple and pink.  She is very fashionable, yet sometimes forgetful and unable to speak up for herself.

Mia is the animal lover of the group.  She is also a vegetarian.  She enjoys taking care and spending time with animals.  She also excels at playing sports, training animals, and playing drums.  In addition, she also enjoys riding horses, camping, and doing magic tricks.  Her signature colors are light blue, green, and purple.  She is very caring and athletic, yet somewhat stubborn.

Andrea is the musician of the group.  She is a talented singer and great at composing her own songs.  She loves anything about music--singing, playing the piano, dancing, acting.  She is also a great cook; she currently works at a cafe.  She loves bunnies too!  She is a practical person, yet at times she can also be overly dramatic.  She is sometimes a little full of herself, being impulsive and careless at times, but whenever she commits mistakes, she learns from it.

Our Demo Class Experience with Chef Nikko Buendia at The Maya Kitchen

I already mentioned before that I'm not that passionate in cooking; therefore,  I do not want to explore baking as well, hihi.  I love eating cakes, but for me to make one and enjoy eating it afterwards....I am not sure if I can do it.  Baking requires patience, consistency, accuracy, and precision.  Once you make a mistake in baking, you cannot do something about it, you cannot correct your mistake; not unlike in cooking, you can adjust the taste as you prepare the dish.

Last Saturday, June 24th, my son and I were invited to attend a live baking demo of Chef Nikko Buendia at The Maya Kitchen.  The Maya Kitchen is a culinary school teaching short baking and cooking courses to everybody, even to kids and teens.  They have been in the industry since 1964.  Apart from being a culinary school, they are also known for supplying baking supplies (flour, cornstarch, baking powder, instant mix) in the market.

Wide array of Maya baking products available at leading supermarkets and groceries nationwide

Watching a live baking demo is something new to me.  The demo area of The Maya Kitchen is equipped with two overhead cameras and wall-mounted TVs so we can see the top view of the tabletop.

Chef Nikko Buendia demonstrated on how to bake a Japanese cheesecake and caramel cake.  She also gave us some baking tips so that we would be able to bake these two delectable cakes perfectly.  Here are some pictures of live baking demo:

Unlimited Sushi at Php499 at Misono Restaurant

I love Japanese food.

Recently, I had this intense craving over sushi and sashimi.  So happy that I was able to satisfy myself on eating a bunch of it at a Japanese buffet restaurant.  Too late for me to learn that there is a restaurant in Makati City that offers unlimited sushi!

Just last June 20, 2017, Misono Japanese Restaurant, which is located along Jupiter St., Bel-air, Makati City, launched "Zooshi", and all-you-can-eat sushi from 11AM to 10PM.  Misono Japanese Restaurant is the latest addition to the chain of restaurants owned by businessman Robert Laurel Yupangco.  Other restaurants he owns are: Nanten Restaurant which is located inside the Manila Polo Club grounds, Midori at Alabang Country Club, Yakitori Daitokyo at Metropolitan Avenue, Makati City, and Jinsei Restaurant located at the ground floor of Vivere Hotel in Alabang.

Misono Japanese Restaurant is open to those people who love anything but sushi.  They are inviting people to try this unique offer, with lots of sushi, sashimi, and maki varieties to choose from.  What's good about this offer is that it's very affordable!  It's only Php399 for kids and Php499 for adults.

Apart from their unlimited sushi, Misono Restaurant is also open for private events as it has a function room for conferences, forums, and parties.

For sure, I'll visit Misono Japanese Restaurant one of these days!

For more information about Misono Japanese Restrarant, you may contact 09166299381 or send an email to  You may also check Misono Japanese Restaurant's Facebook page.
